Dare to be Sassy Thursday #138

Hi everyone and welcome to DTBST#138. We have a fun challenge for you this week. It's time to "pop it up". Pop up one or more parts of your project on dimensionals or foam tape.

Hope you will join the fun and give it a go. You don't need to use a SSD image to play along, but we love it when you do. Enter by next Wednesday night for your chance to win 2 SSD images of your choice.

There is some extra incentive for using a SSD image, you get to enter twice. So if you use one, make sure you link to your blog post and the second link can just be to your blog (it won't let you link to the same post twice). After your name, please put SSD, so we know why you are linking twice!

Before you check out what the talented DT has created, lets take a minute to congratulate our winner of DTBST#137, Karal. Congrats! I love the sassy Carrie card you've done with the sketch! You've won 2 SSD images. Please contact me at kcurry71(at)gmail(dot)com with your choices.

Here is some fabulous inspiration from out DT:

It's A Small World Honey Blog Hop Part II

Welcome to It’s A Small World Honey Hop Part II

Wow! It has been a long week…seems like we have been waiting forever to get here! What with all the little snippets and teasers we have been showing you the last few days! We hope you are as excited as we are to show you each It’s A Small World Honey image in its entirety! And what better way to do that than with a hop! So pour yourself a cup of coffee, or whatever you prefer and get comfy! If you really want to get in the mood you can put on the song from It’s A Small World. LOL I know, I know…the song you love to hate and it stays with you for a while!

Today we will not only be showcasing the new images but we are having a trivia challenge that includes a word scramble AND a special Birthday shout out to the owner, artist, and creator of Sassy Studio Designs; Lindsay!

Surprise Lindsay! We wanted to show you a bit of love so make sure you figure out the letters too!

There are going to be 10 questions pertaining to the ride “It’s A Small World” plus 2 bonus questions that you need to answer. Then email them to ssdreleasecrew@yahoo.com .The last bonus question is the word scramble! You need to find the letters hidden in each of the design team’s blog.  Each member will have 2 letters that will stand out in some way and you need to find them and see what they spell! You are going to have your work cut out for you! LOL Hopefully it won’t be too hard!

So what have you all thought of the little teasers this week?
Do you think you know the countries they are from?

The first were The Netherlands/Holland and The Philippines
(no one guessed the Philippines)
The second were France and India
The third were China and Japan
So the winners are
The Netherlands image:  Intruderlady and Craftygirl
France and India:  Linda W and Cgl1539
China and Japan: Susan and Marimer

If you would email us at ssdreleasecrew@yahoo.com we can get you your prize!

Without further ado here are your questions:

1.What date did It’s A Small World move back to Disneyland?

 2.Where did it move from?

3.What are the first lines of the song?
4.How many hidden Mickey’s are there? (name the spot where you would find one)

5.How many DOLLS sing the theme song?
6.In what languages is the song sung in throughout the ride?

7.On the original ride what character or characters were frowning?

8.On the original ride what did Japan's sign say?

9.On the original ride how was America depicted?

10.What does the clowns sign say?

Bonus Questions:
How many images are in the Sassy Studio Store that would be considered from Disney movies/cartoons/rides?
What does the secret message spell out?

And now for the prizes:

Grand prize winner will receive all 6 images

1st place 5 images

2nd place 4 images

3rd place 3 images

4th place 2 images

5th place 1 image

There will be two winners chosen who get the bonus questions right.
