Just a side note, to say that our thoughts and hearts are with the people of the mid west, who are going through extremely horrible times.  I truly hope everyone is safe and have all their loved ones with them.

Sassy Saturday!

Good morning to you!  I hope your having a wonderful start to your weekend.  My youngest daughter graduates 8th grade today, and my middle daughter’s boyfriend graduated high school tonight.   So, we are having a very good weekend. 

Ok, onto business, it’s time to feature another Sassy Saturday Sistah.  And this week we have Rachel, and Rachel has made a super cute birthday card using the new Sassy Cassie.

Tipsy Tuesday-Sassy Style

Hello everyone, it's time for another Tipsy Tuesday from Maria.  This time you will be getting some fabulous tips on coloring jeans and red hair!  I so need this one-hehe. 
Here is a colouing tutorial using Skater Chic, using Copics and a Prisma pencil

Put down a layer of B93, dont worry about even coverage- its not needed on denim.

Put a layer of B95 around the edges

Blend the two where they meet using the B93

Roughly go over middle of denims using colourless blender (0) to bleach out some colour.

Draw around the edges with a dark blue Prisma pencil ( I used Indigo)

Using a paper stump and Sansador/gamsol drag some of the colour into the image, blending gently for an authentic Denim look.

For red hair, cover with a layer of R59

Using light 'flick' strokes, add E47 from hair tips inwards and from roots outwards.

For a deeper red look, repeat previous step using E49.

Welcome once again to Dare to be Sassy Thursday #72. This challenge was posted Thursday and has disappeared with the blogger issues that happened this week. If you entered under the first post, it seems to be gone for good, so go ahead and enter your project here. Sorry about the confusion!

On to the challenge. May is a lovely month for weddings, so our challenge for you this week is to make a wedding, bridal shower or bachelorette card. Hope you'll  play along with us.
