Happy New Years!!!!
So I know we haven't had a release over the holidays, we usually take a little break so everyone can spend more time with their families enjoying the season. But it is a new year and a new day and I wanted to start it out right with a BIG THANK YOU to all of our fans and followers. Myself and the Design team would not be here without all of you. you make what we do worth it.
So I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday season. Mine was a bit crazy and hectic but wonderful and joyful sprinkled in with a little heartbreak and sadness. My grandma who had been diagnosed with lung cancer this year has undergone successful treatments and so far is cancer free! will have to be monitored closely of course to see if comes back but it is still wonderful to have made such a recovery from it so far. We did have a little tragedy 2 of our dogs escaped my parents yard and while one gentleman attempted to rescue them and get them off the road, a taxi cab went around him and his car and plowed through both of the dogs (140lb greatdane bullmastif, Thor our gentle giant he was such a sweet and wonderful soul and so loving and kind, and a 70lb blonde german shepherd she was ditzy and weird and a bit of a dummy but she was loving and happy) they both passed away which has been very hard on our family as they were FAMILY to us. but we were so thankful for the young man who tried to save them and that he was there comforting them in their last moments on earth. Also I made it through 2 sets of layoffs at work! so I am so thankful to still have a job this new year! my sister hasn't been so lucky, but as she searches for a new job she is getting to spend much more time with my wonderful niece. She just turned 2 this past week and she is such a wonderful playful loving and talkative little girl! And my husbands aunt and her fiance moved and now live only a few blocks from us, so moth my parents and his aunt live within walking distance so it was a great season for us as a family! All of these things made the Chirstmas Season great for us I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season as well and I wish and pray for everyone to have a wonderful happy and blessed 2013!
Wishing you a very happy New Year, Lindsay! Thanks so much for the fun images!

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! These images are Fabulousoooo.... Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteOh no, that is so sad that happened to your dogs - I have two dogs and can't imagine what pain you must be feeling about such a tradegy. What was the cab driver thinking? I bet the poor man who tried to help was also in shock too... so sad.
ReplyDeleteGood news about your gran though - lets hope she continues to be cancer free. Seems there have been lots of ups and downs for you as a family - I think it's what grounds you and makes you thankful for everything you have at the end of the day.... it's called life. We all have a cross to bare don't we - this is why crafting becomes such a distraction and saves us from the stuff that can brake us at times. Well hope 2013 is successful for you - and thank you so very much for the images - so very kind of you....

ReplyDeleteI am so happy that your Gran is cancer free - let's hope she stays that way for many years to come.
I was so saddened to read about your doggies. We are owned by lots of pets, and they are certainly our family, so my heart goes out to you at their tragic passing. Take comfort that their last moments were with that kind young man.
Warmest Hugs,
Jennifer. x

Great news about your aunt. My hubby had a biopsy & they told us that they were certain it was cancer but it came back negative on Christmas Eve so what a blessing that was for us! We also have 2 furbabies & would be crushed if that were to happen to them. I definitely feel your pain. Children are a blessing & a joy to family. We have grandchildren. Older ones here in town & the younger ones out of town. What would we do without them?
ReplyDeleteThank you for SO generously providing us with so many awesome images!
