Dare to be Sassy Thursday #67

Welcome to another Dare to be Sassy Thursday. The challenge this week is all about April showers. Use something wet or watery on your card. Might be a rainy image, some crystal effects, some stickles.....or whatever wet item you can think up. Link you card by next Wednesday night for the chance to win two SSD images. You don't need to use a Sassy Studio image to play along, but we like to see them if you have them!

One mask, two ideas.

Hello friends!  We are starting something new today--TIPSY TUESDAY-SASSY STYLE!  Maria is here to share some tips with you today.

Here are 2 ideas using one mask and one of Lindsay's cool Sassy's, this one is Bubble Bath available here.

First print out the image on your chosen paper/card, and print a second copy on thin copier/zerox paper.
Using the copier copy cut an aperture mask as shown.

Colour your image as desired.

Place the aperture mask over your coloured image and line it up.

Now stamp your fave stamp through the mask.

Here is the lovely result!

For the next idea, place the mask over some patterned paper, draw around the edges and cut out the paper.

Stick onto your bath for a diferent look.  This technique for paper piecing is much easier and less wasteful than printing the whole image on your lovely designer papers.

Good afternoon, hope all is well with you!  I finally have some BEAUTIFUL weather-70 and sunny!  It’s so hard to sit here and craft when it’s like that outside-lol.  Ok, so we have a couple of sponsorships today to tell you about.  First is Inspirational Card Sketches.  Maria made an amazing sample for you using their sketch.

Happy Monday!

Ok I know Monday's stink but we have to brighten things up a little from time to time to get through the day. So positive thoughts will help us overcome the Monday blues.

So today I am writing to let you know I will be out of town again this time not for vacation or church. This past weekend we had a loss in the family. My husbands uncle passed away and he was a HUGE part of Chris's life. He taught him many of his mechanical skills and in many ways was like a dad to him so it was a hard weekend and tonight we set out to drive all the way to Oklahoma from California (24 hours of driving time) I will not be back in time to keep to our release this Saturday (the 2nd Saturday of the month) so we have decided to push it out one week so our release this month will be Saturday the 16th. but keep an eye out these next 2 weeks your gonna start seeing some of the new images...but i'll give you a heads up of what to expect...
