Cassie's Creations!

So earlier today (well its yesterday now he hee I am such a night owl)

I introduced to you our August Guest designers and I really wanted to feature each of them individually with their creations!

So here we Have Cassie! Who will actually be joining our Sassy Seven

For this release She worked with a few different images but I have to say by far my fav image, as well as my fav creations of hers are using the True Love's Kiss image

So first off I am a sucker for fairytales! I love them! WHich is mostly the reason I decided to do a whole release based around some of my fav fairytales!

And with this image Cassie gave us 3 of my favs! 1st here this completely reminds me of Belle and the prince once he is changed back to human form and I know it is hard to see but she used some gold shimmers on the bustled are of the dress it truely is stunning!

So if that was Belle I would have to say this is Aurora and Prince Philip from Sleeping Beauty

And of course Cinderella and her Prince Charming! What I love most about this isn't the bling or the beautiful coloring, it's that it is a Scrapbook Layout! I think sometimes we get so caught up in stamping and card making we forget about those scrapbooks and that these images can most deffinately be used in them to compliment your photos. I personally started as a scrapbooker and well i had a fairytale wedding that i am still amidst scrapping so I think I know a few images I will be adding to my book he hee so thank you so much Cassie for inspiring me for my own albums!

Next up she Used our Precious Pirate image. I know Pirates aren;t you rtraditional fairytale characters (accept maybe captain hook from peter pan but more recently I think we have all fallen in love with the Pirates of the Carribean trilogy and in my mind it hits the definition of a fairytale in every aspect So I decided we needed a Pirate Princess and here she is atop her "thrown" of sorts he hee

Cassie did a wonderful jobshe used shimmers and liquid pearls to accent her image and really make it sparkle. that is deffinately one Sassy Pirate!

and another using the same image she used some clear accents on teh boots that gives em some shine and also used shimmers on the blouse and liquid pearls again on the coins. but it is polished off with the use of one of the sentiments from our sentiment set!

Next Up she also used our Princess of the Orient! I absolutely love how she paper pieced the Kimono with that wonderful patterned paper and topped it off with the symbols for Peace

These next 2 speak for themselves no sentiments needed they are just serene and beautiful!

So that completes our introduction to Cassie and her works of art! but we will have much much more to see from her in the very near future. now I think it is time for me to head to bed lol but 1st thing tomorrow I have Ellen and Jana's creations to show off to you so I hope you will be around for them as well. and be sure to show some love for all these wonderful ladies and all the hard work they put in making these wonderful creations!!!

Today I wanted to introduce to you some very special ladies.

Our August Guest Designers!!!

August is a Big month for us at Sassy Studio Designs we have 2 HUGE releases planned so we thought what a perfect time it would be to bring in a few guest designers.

So today I have the pleasure of introducing to you

Jana Mays

Hey! I’m Jana, a proud US Coast Guard wife and mom to 3 amazing kids. We are currently stationed in Kodiak, Alaska. This has been the best experience. I am a craftaholic and very passionate about paper crafts. I started scrapbooking about 11 years ago and was introduced to stamping about 7 years ago. I never looked back. My husband is super supportive of my addiction. I have a great space to create in. I am thrilled with digital stamps because then I don’t have to wait for shipping to Alaska I am an “instant gratification” kind of gal. *wink* I also enjoy machine embroidery, sewing, making hair bows, photography and cooking. I love the outdoors and we spend a lot of time fishing and hiking. It is such a pleasure to have been chosen to be a Sassy Studio Guest Designer. Hopefully I can offer up some inspiration.

My name is Ellen but I have been called "Tink" almost forever!I am Married to "MY knight in shinning armor"I have 3 grown kids and have started all over again with Emmy, she is 4 now..And Sabrina, she is 13..I have been Stamping and Scrapbooking for over 10 years now and I will also alter anything that can't run away!!I am so very Honored to be a Guest Designer for SSD, I truly LOVE all the images and they are so much fun to create with..

Now before I get to Cassies Bio I have a little announcement. Unfortunately Jen has to leave us after August 1st because of so many big and wonderful things going on in her life. Though we wish Jen teh absolute best in her future endevours We needed another siter to join the sassy seven in her place, and Cassie has so graciously agreed to take on the rest of Jen's term! So cassie isn;t just an August guest Designer she is a new member of the Sassy Seven!!! SO give her a great big welcome!

Hi ya'll. My name is Cassie and I just turned 31. I am blessed to be married to a wonderful husband and have 2 handsome little boys. Not only am I a wife, but I also teach 9th graders at our local high school. I've been stamping and crafting for eight years, but I have only really gotten into it in the last three years. For the last two years I have really started getting into the digital side of crafting and have found that I really like to manipulate the images. I think the biggest compliment I have gotten so far is from my husband when he tells me he saw something and thought about how I could recreate it even better. True or not it makes me feel good :)

So thanks for stopping in and meeting these great ladies joining us at SSD and keep an eye out today I will be showing off more previews, as well as some of our guest designer creations!!!

Pretty Pixie Previews!

I know it is late but I have been wanting to show off all these great Design team samples to you all but I just have not had the time and I feel so bad, so I decided to make some time before I call it a day.

This release by far has been the most fun so far! I love it and so does my Team

1st up is by Piali she made this awesome card that pivots open

Next she did this wonderful Door hanger that completely inpired another member of our DT

Next Up is Valerie! She was so inspired by Piali she made her own door hanger for her craft room.

And Valerie also did this super cute card

And here Lelia made a mini pizza box to store away some fun lipglosses for her little girl how cute is that!

And this great card with butterfly's and pixie dust

Next up I have Jacquie! she used my fav papers ever for both her creations the Once upon a time papers from DCWV they are sparkly and fun and perfect for our fairytale images!

Also be sure to watch out tomorrow I will be announcing our August guest designers and showing off some of their creations and I will also be showing of 2 more of our soon to be released images!!!

We are going to have challenges and games with lots of prizes.

(this is my time and when I refer to times this is what I go by)

(we have a very international following! and we deffinately want to try and allow as many of them to join us as possible so there would be as little confusion as possible I tried to post as many of their time zones as possible.)

This is a 6 hour event and we know not everyone can join us for that whole time so we will announce the challenges at 10 AM PST, 11 am PST, 1 pm PST, and 2 pm PST. All challenge entries will have to be submitted by 3:30pm PST on the dot winners will be selected and announced at the end at 4pm PST The game will run through the whole Ball and the winner will also be announced at 4pm PST

All of the images will be available in the store at the end of the Ball.

So mark your calendars!
And be sure to find out what time it is in your own time zone so you don't miss any of the fun!
and we can't wait to see all of you at out Masquerade Ball!

SOOOOO... I decided instead of just a challenge today we would make it a sneak peak day too!!! are you ready to see what we have in store for you for August 1st!?!?!

1st up with have Valeries Pretty Pixie creation.

For those of you who don't Know Valerie much she LOVE fairies! and tinkerbelle so This image was totally inspired by everyones favorite most well known fairy friend. Yes she is different than everyones disney fav, but thats because we had to make her our own sassy little pixie =)

Next up this beautiful creation is by Piali!

She used our soon to be released Princess of the orient image.

Sassy Cassie Saturday!

I have to tell you the truth when I drew her I loved her but with the themes we had set for of next few releases she just did not fit. I didnt think I was ever going to release her and it was by chance last minute that I thought about it. I had shown her as a sketch as a sneak preview and well that just would not have been nice at all if I didnt release her so I finshed her up last minute and added her on to out July 9th release and She is our #1 seller she is everyone's fav! SO I have to say she was the best last minute afterthought I ever had he hee he

So of course since she is our top seller that means people are creating with her! and of course I HAD to show of some of the great creations I have been seeing!!!

So first up I have 2 creations by Cassie!

and they are just stunning dont you think?!?! The sparkles on the shirts the color selections the coloring I mean just beautiful! It's no wonder I had to share them with you.

Next up another creation by Cindy Close! and it is Absolutely Fabulous!
Well I am still away anjoying a romantic weekend camoning with my hubby but I'll be back soon! I can't wait to see what everyone was up to this weekend while I was away

Hippie Chicky kinda Day

Happy Friday everyone! Well I am on Vacation by now when this is going to post, Ahhh see I do plan ahead sometimes lol. Anyways we had such a great 2 weeks I mean back to back releases meant a ton of new images to show off to you all and now that we have a little chance to catch our breath I though why not show off some of our all time Fav older images!

One of the favs seems to be our groovy Hippie Chic and I recently got some great samples from some of our customers that I wanted to share with you.

1st up, we have another creation from our Friend from the UK, Susie

She did such a great job with these papers and colors it's so much fun!

Next up I have Cindy Close she isn't new to crafting but she is ne wto digistamps and she has fallen in love with our girl here! So I wanted to share with you one of her 1st ever SSD creations!

Who's ready for a release!!!

It's has been a long day of cruzin' and I want to thank all of you who participated in out

1st blog cruz. I know we had some bumpy seas along the way but for the most part it was a walk in the beach. We live and we learn and now the sassy seven and myself have big plans for the next release!

I know you got to see alot of the images throughout the blog cruz, but I wanted to take a second and introduce to you each of the new images.

We will start with our leading ladies.

1st up we Have our Hula Hunny she is the star of any luau

Next up we have Surfs Up of great little surfing Wahini

Lounging Around by the pool or the beach this Sassy lady has her drink in hand and is ready for any party

And what would any day at the beach be without a little sunbathing. Here we have our Beach Bum catching a few rays.

Now with any beach trip you deffinately need a few nessecities! So We have our Beachy accessories

And with all this talk of fun in the sun and day's at the beach I thought we could use a little Island getaway so here it is I made you one! lol here is our Topical scene the first of what I hope will be a long series of fun background images to use along side our wonderful characters.

Beach Cruz

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Are you all ready to hit the beach for a little summer time cruzin'?
I sure hope so Because We sure are! The Sassy Seven have been working their tailfeathers off trying to pull together all these great things you are about to see.
In Celebration of our newest release We wanted to do a little cruz!
We have tons of great things to show you today before the images are available in the store. Now we know it is a weekday and some of you still may have to work so we started it in the wee hours this morning and it will go all the way through 6pm PST tonight! SO you have all day to join in.
How this is going to work is there is a little list below of all the ladies you have to visit. Now it's not a very big list so it shouldn't be too hard all you have to do is start at the top and go through the bottom one by one check out what they have to show you. Now there is a catch, you have to check in at each stop by leaving a little comment on their post. At the end of the hop I am going to use our trusty friend random.org and select the winner but the winner has to have checked in and left a comment at every stop! and if they did they will recieve the entire new release!! yes every image every accessory it is all theirs just for playing along with us today!

Wow today is a Big day!

It really is! We have so much going on!!!

1st things 1st I posted a little competition to my new DT as well as opened it up to our PCP group to help name our fabulous new Design Team, we had tons of great suggestions and I posted them all in a poll for the DT to vote on, and......Drum roll please!!!.....

The winning name is..... The Sassy Seven!!!

Well it doesn't include me because I'm not a DT member lol so Lindsay and her Sassy Seven Design Team however you want to think about it they are my Sassy Seven! yay!!! I love it!

And who came up with this winning name might you ask?!?! none other than one of our very own Sassy Seven, Deb!!! So as the winner she will get the entire new release collection of images!

I really want to thank everyone for helping out We really did appreciate and love many of the suggestions!
